Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IX is the ninth main installment in the Final Fantasy series, developed and published by Squaresoft, with a plot that centers on the consequences of a war between nations in a medieval fantasy world called Gaia.

Final Fantasy IX and Grim Fandango (which I've also created posters about) were two video games that made a huge impression on me as a child. I have fond memories of whiling away summer evenings exploring these amazingly rich worlds and getting caught up in what turned out to be a surprisingly Shakespearean plot. Whilst they pale in comparison to the fantastic concept art that was created for the game, I wanted to try and capture a bit of the nostalgia I have for these non-existant places in a series of illustrations.

These are available as framed/unframed art prints and canvases at my RedBubble or Society6 stores.
